TV Tuner remote?

I have an MSI Theatre 550 tv tuner card, and I'm wondering if it's possible to use the remote with anything else (i.e. Winamp). I'd like to use it to control music, but the Music function of the bundled software that came with it (PowerCinema 3) is horrible.

do you have any clue of what the name for the remote is.....if its an x10 derivitive you might be able ot use a dif set of drivers that treat it more like a mouse/keyboard..if not we might be able to find you some plug ins

yep, that's the one. sorry, i have no idea what it's called... its just the standard remote that's bundled with the MSI Theatre 550 Pro TV Tuner

try downloading the ati remote wonder drivers and see if they install

I downloaded and installed them, and I played around with the Config utitlity it comes with, but I still can't get it to work 🙁

how would I find out if it has recognized the remote? I can't see anywhere in the utility where i can check it or anything like that... 🙁
