TV tuner question

I have comcast digital cable, so I'm guessing that I'd have to call comcast and have them come install another line if I get a TV tuner card? Are there other methods of getting it to work, and if not, any rough estimates on how much it would cost?

umm, you plug a tv tuner into a regular cable, like a tv

If you have a cable modem, just split that line and run off it. That's what I do w/ no issues.

Don't have them install another line. Just buy a $3 splitter and some cable.

If you want the "digital" channels you'll need to get a cable box, without it you'll only get the "basic" cable channels

ahh, i totally forgot about my cable modem. Well here's another question. I'm moving rooms, and my cable modem line isn't going to be long enough, can I buy an extension or do I have to call comcast?

Buy sn extension. No need to call Comcast.
