Hey guys I've been thinking about getting a tv tuner for my computer for a long time, and i finally decided to buy one when my dad decides to get satelite tv....Does anyone know of a tuner or 2 that work with satelite? I guess they'd need to be like an internal receiver, if thats even possible.
anyways thanks for the help
Graeme

You can hook the TV Tuner up to the regular RCA or S-Video outputs on your Satellite Receiver box, but you'll need to switch channels with your satellite remote and all that.

you can build/buy an IRblaster, but I'm not sure if windows has s/w to support it. It's more (from what I have seen) a linux/MythTV thing.

The Windows Media Center remote has IR blasters built into it. If you get somthing like the Hauppauge PVR-150 Media Center kit, it will have everything you need - tuner, remote control, IR receiver, and a blaster.

Edit - currently on sale @ Circuit City.
