I have an All-in-Wonder Video Card and would like to know if there is really any software (free or otherwise) that will allow me to burn TV programs directly to DVD, without the need to save the file to my hard drive first. Also, when I record a program, it is saved in MPEG2 format. Is there anyway to burn that format to DVD? Nero 6 will not let me do it without buying an MPG Encoder/Decoder.

Are you wanting to just burn to DVD (as a data/archive/somewhere to stick the file or files) or do you want to burn a COMPLIANT DVD-Video disk for use in a set top DVD player?

Do you really want your DVD burner to be spinning and burning for 30+ mins at a time while you burn these TV shows? Because that's how long they'll be running for.

Anyways, i don't think it's possible... not unless there are some burners with really huge buffers out there.

I am looking to burn a TV show on my AIW card directly to a DVD that I can watch on an ordinary DVD player. I know some of the NVidia Personal Cinema says it can burn directly to DVD. I'm looking to see if there is any other product that will work with All in Wonder 128 Pro video card.
