I'd like some sort of program will display TV-like static on a computer monitor. Linux or Windows. Preferably something that locks up the mouse. I know theres gotta be something out there that can do it, or an easy way to write a prog myself. Thoughts? It's for a prank. Thanks.

More appropriately, I'd like any way to simulate a display device turning itself on.
