*TV Show* thread

Seen/caught up with (and liked): Lost, Heroes, Weeds, Prison Break, The Office (US), Dexter

Currently watching: House (s01e02) and I think it's GREAT. I've been looking for a new show for a couple months now... (yeah the Lost finale was a few weeks, but that's only one show).. for anyone who has NOT seen this show, I DEFINITELY recommend it (it's set in a hospital where they have a senior doctor (Dr. House) who's a bit of a weirdo (in normal peoples eyes) but so far, I like his character very much.

if you're into sci-fi at all...

The 4400 -- it's like Heroes, but better (and was canceled, but the last ep brings it to a semi-decent conclusion)
Battlestar Galactica -- robots v humans in space... probably one of the best tv shows of all time.

then try the sopranos
or the unit (special ops greatness)
or the west wing (politically relevant and the first 4 seasons are some amazing writing)

I like(d) Moonlight, New Amsterdam, Bones, & Numbers.

Venture Bros. is starting up its 3rd season. Get caught up on the first 2 seasons, wouldn't take long at all. Definitely has some very good writing to it. If you ever liked Jonny Quest as a kid, this is pretty much the same thing but for adults, some pretty mature humor/action throughout. If you're a fan of Futurama you'll most likely love this show. Futurama used to be my favorite but this show definitely trumps it.

That In Plain Sight show looks like it might be good. I enjoyed the episode that was on today.

Stargate SG-1 is good too. I just watched all 10 seasons + the movie which wraps everything up. It took me about 3 or 4 months to get through it.
