Okay...fessing up that I like the TV show Cheaters, it's a guilty pleasure along the lines of Blind Date and Shipmates....so my Tivo tapes it for me once a week, since it's broadcast at the ungodly time of 3 a.m. Sunday nights...

Anyway, on the episode from this last weekend, the host of the show a guy named Joey is confronting a cheating boyfriend on a boat, and a fight breaks out and he is stabbed by the cheating boyfriend in the stomach...LOTs of blood, rushed to the ambulance, cheating boyfriend arrested, etc...definitely not staged. At the end of the show, they do an update on the situation, and it just basically says that Joey is recovering, and that the cheating boyfriend was released from police custody....

I searched without any luck about an update...Anyone else see that? It was gross, lots of blood, big hole in his stomach.....

edit the video and send me the part where he gets stabbed.. or you could put the whole episode up
for download too :)

Sorry if I dont shed a tear for the scum of the entertainment industry. No he doesn't deserve to be assaulted but I won't miss his presence in the ever-degenerating realm of crap TV.

I thought as much. When I first started watching it it looked real. Then occasionally it would look so obviously fake. Just a few weeks ago they a girl who was cheating on her boyfriend. When they did the confrontation they busted in to the apartment, ran to the bedroom. They girlfriend was being ass f*cked by another women dressed up as a construction worker. They had yellow caution tape all around the bed, and get this, there was a vibrator hanging from the ceiling. During the confusion some more people dressed up like I don't know what walked out from the closet. I don't know if they were hiding or peeping or what.

When they boyfriend confronts the girlfriend she starts in on this bit about how she is kinky but she has been afraid to say anything to him because she was afraid it would turn him off. It was some of the worst acting, the worst ad lib I have ever seen, so obviously fake. She says "How can I tell you I want you to dress up like a construction worker and f*ck me in my a$$." He says "just say it," so she says it. Then she looks at him (I swear, it was just like a cheesy porno with lame dialogue) and says "well, what do you think."

You just had to see it to believe it. The very next scene they had a young man cheating on his girlfriend. The girlfriend hints around at impotence on the boyfriends part. When they confront the boyfriend and the girl he is supposed cheating with, the subject of impotence comes up again. They ask her if he had any problems getting it up. He starts yelling that he doesn't have those problems, that it was only because he was not interested in the old girlfriend. The new girlfriend runs to the car and brings back a penis pump. Again, it looked so staged and phony.

Personally I think all reality shows could use a little of that. Maybe they'd stop making them then. Or at least they would be more entertaining.

Well, found out a little more this morning on this...

Here's a cut/paste from a newsgroup thread I found...I DIDN'T write this,
the author was "The Kentucky Wizard"...

Well, I have written the shows producer, Bobby Goldstein, regarding the
stabbing incident. He responded to the first email, which basically the same
ambigeous email that Shirley received. I questioned him a second time, and I
have yet to hear from him, so who knows what the deal is.

Here is the text of the emails and his single response.

Mr. Goldstein,
I watched the episode of your show this past Saturday night in which
your host, Mr. Greco, was stabbed by the man that he has confronted for
cheating on his pregnant girlfriend. Could you please tell me if Mr. Greco
was actually stabbed, and if so, what is his current condition? I enjoy your
show, I am writing from Louisville, Ky. and this incident, while appeared to
be a realistic event, could have possibly been a staged event.
I haven't seen an actual online source that carried the stabbing
incident, and I have searched the various Dallas news sources; TV, radio,
etc., without any results. For something that was shown on television
stations across the country, the fact that there has been nothing reported,
at least easily accessible online is somewhat peculiar to say the least.
Your show's website also contains no information regarding this incident.
I have found a few discussion forums, where the majority of posters seem
to feel that this was somehow staged, and that Mr. Greco was not injured at
all.
Could you please provide me with the following information: The extent
of Mr. Greco's injuries, his current health status, the projected time of
his return to the show, any online sources documenting the event, the legal
status of the man who committed the alleged assault. and whether Mr. Greco
is actually planning on returning to the show.

Thank you in advance for your time.

greetings, and thanks so much for your care and concern. joey is doing very
well, and other than the walk ups that he missed out on in that ugly
episode, he is now back in the saddle. i am forwarding all such e-mails to
him so that he can know how much support he has out there. thanks for your
good wishes and for your being a cheaters fan. bg

Greetings Mr. Goldstein,
Thank you for your reply, and I am glad to know that Mr. Greco is
feeling better. I had asked you for some additional information regarding
the incident that occurred on that recent episode. As I said then, there
seems to be some controversy regarding the authencity of what occurred, and
I would like for you to answer these questions, so that I may know whether
what happened was a real incident of not.
Once again, I respectfully ask that you could provide me with these
answers. I assure you that I am only interested in the authencity of the
incident and the aftermath of it. I represent no organization, and I am not
a repoorter, or have some hidden agenda, I am only a curious fan of the
show.
Given that, could you please provide me with the following information:
The extent of Mr. Greco's injuries, his current health status, the projected
time of his return to the show, any online sources documenting the event,
the legal status of the man who committed the alleged assault. and whether
Mr. Greco is actually planning on returning to the show.

Thank you in advance for your time,
