at least with the mom on fresh prince of bel-air, they did make reference to it...

Jazz (will's friend) came in at the beginning of the first ep with her and said something like "you look different all of a sudden". Then, the next season, he came in and was like "so who's the mom this year?" I always appreciate when a show can acknowledge lil things like that.

They changed the older daughter in Hope & Faith. The new older daughter is much hotter but I wish they stuck with the same actress to play the older daughter -- it feels weird seeing a new actress play her.

They did acknowledge the changed daughter on Roseanne, I remember her being sniped at that she could be replaced during one of the later episodes.
