Im very new to the Video cards world. I'am planning to buy a Geforce TI 3 200.
My question is:
What is the Tv-Output of the card for, which are some common uses for it.

You would need a TV tuner card. Usually they take up a PCI slot and work with your existing video card. There are a bunch out there ATI, Matrox and others make them.

Or you could get an "all in one " type card... ATI' All In Wonder...

As powerMarkymark mentioned it is fine for playing games or watching media on the TV.

However beware, the quality of picture, is not good enough to use the TV for general computer
use. I mean like web surfing, or word-processing.
