TV-OUT

I Just bought the 3D Prophet 2 GTS with TV-Out. It has 7 pin tv/s-vhs out and adapter for composite video cable. Does anybody know of a place where I can get a S-VHS cable or a standard composite video cable that I can run through the wall that is about 30 feet in length? I would also like some sort of wall mount to make it look professional. I dont know if you can get the cable this way but it would make the job look alot nicer. If not just the cable in any form (at least 30ft) Any stores in the Vancouver(Canada) area or anywhere in North America from website?

Thanx in advance

Radio Shack would definitely have what you need. So would any other local electronics supply store, and probably almost any store that sells TVs.

I have a Leadtek Geforce MX with S-video out, which my tv dosen't have. Can you get a converter to change it to composite video?
The places I have been to, say there is no such thing, but you got one with your Prophet??????????

Sure, you can get a converter to change your S-video to composite video. I'd be surprised if they don't have something like that at Radio Shack. Try searching their web site for it http://www.radioshack.com

Or else try a local store that sells electronic parts.

Yes, I recieved one with MY 3D prophet 2 GTS, One place I found usefull with cables and adapters is www.partsexpess.com . I found what I was looking for and there are lots of pics of the products to make sure you gt what you want. One weird thing is that my box says 7 pin s video but I only see 4 pins, lol. Guess its a spelling mistake. anyway I hope that place helps you out, and to everybody else that posted thanks for your suggestions.

Almost all the salesmen in electronic store told me the same thing : It is impossible to convert S-video to composite video (RCA).

THEY are ALL wrong. In fact, all video card maker have this in stock and it seem to be easy to produce.

Radio shack have some BUT DONT ASK the guys in there cause they will probably wont understand...Just look and find what you need by your self

Good luck

Converting from s-video to composite is easy, technically speaking. Converting from composite to S-video is also possible, but less easy.

Most salespeople are clueless about this kind of stuff.
