I'm almost about to buy a asus 7100t becuase I have heard it has good s-video out, chrontel 7007 chipset. I am wanting to watch divx(mpeg-4) files on my tv via s-video, and thus can't rely on my hardware decoder.

Anyone have any experience, with or comparing this card, I am also condering the siluro. I read the MSI card has supurb output too. Any opinions? I will most likely be buying one of them buy the end of tonight heh.

I would really like the answer for this as well, as I'm also considering both of these cards.

I've got the Abit Siluro GF2 MX. The TV-out is OK. I don't really like the default colour reproduction...but with a little tweaking I'm sure it could get fixed. The picture also doesn't stretch the whole way across the screen. This isn't so bad in 640x480 but in 800x600 it is annoyingly so. The TV-out in no way matches the quality of my Hollywood+. It is better though than standard nvidia TV-out in my opinion. I also had an old V550 and the TV-out on my Siluro is much better.

The MX has really cool features that no reviewers bring up. You can tweak the TV-out through the display properties so that a windowed video on the monitor shows up as a full screen video on a TV, and you can also zoom in on the video, in addition to changing the format (anamorphic, 4:3, etc) on the fly. Really cool stuff.
