Tv-out problems, macrovision?

I got a gf3 ti500 with a conexant bt869 chip on it with 44.03 drivers.
Now tv-out works fine and dandy, but when i try watching an svcd on my tv through powerdvd it switches from the movie back to the tv from time to time.
When i use nvdvd it just shows two pictures side by side with a green effect.
Is this marcrovision protection or something else?

Macrovision in action would either be blank or flickering brightness. Nvidia recently disable TVO in their drivers for non-Macrovision capable TV encoders but it does not sound like that either. Prolly a driver issue. Try a different player and/or MPEG decoder to narrow it down.
