TV-out picture help

i've just hooked up my graphic card(nvidia 7800gtx) to the tv and noticed that when i play a video the picture doesnt fit the screen. i change the mode into clone view with my monitor as the primary device. then i goto full screen video and select secondary on "full screen device" if i dont do this there wont be any picture on my monitor. but i've tried numerous amount of other things and i still cant get a perfect picture. o i use windows media classic for my files. Please help.

It's due to tv overscan. scroll down to overscan here.

with MPC, you can stretch/shrink the image with the arrow keys on the numpad.

o ic damn overscan 😛 thank you so much but now for another question >.> is there a way to get vidoe on both screen without resorting to "full screen device"

it might have to do with the overlay. see if this works:
in MPC, go to View->Options->Output (under Playback). set it too System Default or VMR9 (windowed).

thanks that did it. one more question is there a setting or a way to get the overscan configured correctly so that I dont have to goto pan&scan each time

i was just playin around with it and i think when you right click on the MPC and select "video frame->Touch to window from inside" it works perfectly like it should. i'm not too sure yet but i'll get more video's to test in a bit. Thank you so much HN for your quick help.
