I'm running a straight S-VIDEO cable from my TI200 to my S-VIDEO input on my TV and it looks fine (well as good as it gets going directly to a TV) in Windows but when I play a DVD it puts a line on the lefthand side of the picture (maybe 1/2" wide) and also manages to distort the overall picture a bit, I've tried with Media Player and PowerDVD 4.0/XP, full screen just messes it up, any ideas?!?! Since I'm running XP it only lets me use 800x600, somethin tells me 640x480 would work out better

I don't know the answer, but I wanna bump this to the top since I have the same stripe on my V3 3000 outputting to a TV!!

I get a 1/2" stripe that looks like a repeated image during dvd's or with Winamps full screen plug-ins...

Help us out!!

Macrovision is a feature encoded on the DVD, isn't it? I get this in video applications other than DVD (like the AVS Visualization plug-in for WinAmp). Don't think this is my problem!!

OverDose... If Macrovision is your problem, I'll start my own thread... :)

look for a program called TVtool. I know that this program has a few helpful tv out features like allowing the output picture to be full screen instead of having black boarders around the tv. hope it helps

One thing for sure is that the problem is not Macrovision.

Likely it's just the crap drivers, TV-out on nvidia cards is an afterthought at best and most of the time it just plain sucks.
