TV-out - Help

I've got a Gainward GF3 that has TV-out... I had it set up so that I could use my TV as a monitor... But after my latest reformat, it no longer works.
I goto Device Selection under my advanced display properties, and try to switch to TV, but all that happens is the TV flashes, and my monitor comes back on.

Anybody familiar with this?

I have a Geforce2gts, I think on mine it would only do one or the other, but I dunno for sure. Its been a long time since Ive tried it......anyway....(((((BUMP))))

On my Radeon, you need the monitor resolution 800x600(or less) @60hz (NTSC model) refresh rate for the TV-out to work.

Changing my res to 800x600 didn't do anything...
It's weird too cuz I change the settings for TV from the default of PAL to NTSC United States, and hit apply, and it switches back to my monitor and resets the tv settings to PAL.

Help 🙁

I had the same problem with my gf2/gts from time to time when I first got it. The newer drivers seem to have stopped it from happening. Also, I've noticed that mine works better in 640x480, I get the bottom of the picture overlapping on the top of the screen if I use 800x600.

Another problem could be that your cable is not seated properly.
Anyway... good luck with it.
