TV Gurus: Need help choosing a new TV...

Right now i'm deciding between a Samsung LNS3251D 32" LCD and the LNS3241D version. I've seen both of them at the store and they both look the same. I'm leaning towards the LNS3241D because i don't like the LNS3251D's shiny frame...it's too distracting in my opinion. I was hoping somebody could convince me that purchasing the older model isn't a mistake. Thanks

Agreed.

I'd buy the Olevia 37" for $799 instead, however that deal is dead 🙁

It uses the MTK chip, not the ATI one, which is a good thing. Excellent reviews for this TV. It has built in ATSC and QAM Tuners and offers 1 year on-site warranty. I picked one up myself. Free 3 day shipping from the Egg!

Connections: Audio Output: 1 R/L RCA Audio Earphone Output: 1 Stereo Mini Jack Component Input: 3 Component + 3 R/L RCA Audio (VGA connector accepts as 3rd Component source) Composite Video Input: 2 composite + 2 R/L RCA Audio Digital Input: PC + Video, Plug & Play, CEA EDID Extensions Optical Audio, 1 HDMI

Contrast Ratio is 1600:1
