TV died.

My sister's visiting me til tomorrow afternoon. She's been doing a lot of stuff in California and at the DNC for the last month so she's just basically been a couch potato since she visited. I come home today from work and she tells me that my TV's acting funny.

I turn it on and the picture's pink and the lines on the LCD are offset. It's a crappy 32" Westy and I've been in the hunt for a new set, but I guess that Samsung LN46A650 will be on the CC sooner than I thought.

I know it's not her fault but it's damn annoying when she's used it non-stop for the last few days and it magically breaks.

Thanks for the vent. bah.

sorry for your loss. I totally know how you feel though

Anytime something works for you "forever" and then somebody uses it and it magically breaks, I get the same way.

I get really suspicious if its something like "the computer is acting slow" or "the vacuum cleaner suddenly isn't working" or "we are out of toilet paper" etc.

Of course it's her fault. Women have a knack for breaking electronics. Make her buy you a new Samsung 52" LCD.

ouch man... i got one of the first blu ray players when they still cost $800 (on sale) and a week later had to leave on business. i come back and want to watch a movie and the blu ray player and game consoles are moved from their original spots, the screen starts shaking and going crazy with the blu ray player. i was told by a roommate "that's how it's always been. after it warms up it gets straight", which it did get straight to a point. i love how things just "stop working".
