There are tons of BF threads scattered all around in the Hot Deals forum and other deal websites. A lot of places don't even allow discussion about BF for some reason

Anywho, we've been considering getting a new TV for a long time now and I'm wondering if BF will be the time to do it. We're looking for an 42"+ Plasma or LCD (preferably Plasma...i guess). A good quality TV, not some junky one. Gotta be an HDTV of course.

Please post here if you know about any good BF deals for TVs, it would save me a lot of time, thanks.

The Westinghouse HDTVs at BestBuy seem to be the best (IMHO).

Just picked up TH-42PX60U from Sears for $1249 plus tax (Only 3.5% at the Sears in New Brunswick, NJ)

Their price was $1799 but I price matched to CC (1299) and they honored it without a problem.

Total including tax $1293

Are you going wait until Christmas to open it?

Yeah, we're going to wrap it up and leave it by the tree until the 25th, even though everyone will pitch in, and everyone will know what it is, we'll just wait a month to set it up...:p

They make some great LCD tvs. You should do some research before you buy.

And if you want to get one of the big ticket items, you better get there the night before so you're really close to the front of the line, because even if the people up front don't want the TV they'll take the ticket and either resell the TV or resell the ticket.

We're really considering the 50" Vizio plasma online right now for $1,499 before taxes and after the rebate it'd be about $1630. Sure is tempting, it's a great looking TV, we've been looking at it at Costco for almost a year now. People say it's great bang for the buck.

Check the GottaDeal Black Friday site for Televisions.

Do I get a commission for the plug RossMan?

Thanks. I found this site also. So this thread can probably be over now :)

That's a nice but personally I prefer this one ;)
