What bothers me is how commercials are demographically targeted, depending on what channel, what show and what time of day it is.
For example, during the hours of 11:00AM-1:00PM when all the Soaps are on, all the commercials are about anything to do with babies (diapers, medicine, food, education) women's mental and physical needs (vaginal itch creme AND How To Make Your Marriage Better videos)
Similarly, all commercials during a televised sporting event are about beer, tools or car advertisements. And ALL those commercials feature under-25 women with plastic surgified bodies.
It's obvious to me and it annoys me. If it annoys me, it is bad and should be done away with.
I have spoken.

What bugs me is the number of commercials seems to have increased in recent years. On old seinfeld episodes for example, you'd get two commercials for the whole episode, but on new shows, theres a 3 minute commercial followed by 4 minutes of TV and repeat.

We get about 10 minutes of commercials for every 30 minutes of tv.
