When I set my system to record a program, it works fine except for when my systems on standby. Is there a way to have it wake up my system?
 
Unless your recording software knows how to talk to Windows and schedule it to wake up, or you do so manually, I don't think you can make this happen automatically. Regular programs are normally suspended when your system is in standby mode.
