On TV, they always bleep out the 'hole' of asshole, but not the 'ass'.

i've noticed on 1 boston fm station (wxks kiss108) during rihanna's unfaithful, the word "gun" is muted. on another station, during charlie daniels' devil went down to georgia, "son of a gun" is edited in for "son of a bitch"

i'm pretty sure south park does not bleep out "asshole" anymore
