TV and Internet providers in Manhattan

My roommate is moving to Manhattan after graduation and he's looking around for TV and Internet providers. Time Warner seems to be the only company he can find but are charging ~$85 for basic TV and Internet combo.

Who do you guys have, how many channels, bandwidth, etc?

His apartment is in Murray Hill if that changes anything.
 
can you get fios without telephone? He doesn't want to have a land line, he's fine with his cell.
