Shucks, dig the nice 42 inch Viewsonic Plasma TV for $1500.00
man that is the best price that I have ever seen on a brandnew Plasma.

Oh well...
None of those new COMPUSA's here in the US...

THe x800 is on the second page.
The plasma monitor is on the 3rd page and the harddrive is on the last page...

the ad says only valid in tustin store for the one hour specials

The ad says that, but my manager came up to me at work yesterday and begged me to come in early for this sale. He said that us (mission viejo) are linked up with this sale.

Gah! I hate you all :p

I just added a Zalman dual heatpipe VGA cooler to my Radeon 9700 Pro... I'm going to have to be satisfied with OCing it, I guess.

Do you know if they will sell the X800s at that price in your store also?

I would guess they would not be on the floor till after the sale starts.

I might stop by tonite and ask how they plan on determining which 20 people will get to buy it

I am also interested in purchasing some junk that people get, especially if they have any small portable laptops. The X800 would be sweet, too! Thanks!

man! There are such AWESOME deals in that ad! I especially love the 30gb HDD. $75-$75 IR=FREE OUT THE DOOR! :Q

We keep all of our expensive items in a room with the laptops so no you don't have to worry about that happening.

As for the deal of the x800 pro working at my store, I am 95% sure that we do. I wont find out for sure until tommorow morning though.

If you want to get on something like this or the launch of a new console you need to show up a few days early and bring a comfy chair.

Missing two days of work would make up the cost difference of the x800...

Hey, it never hurts to try :)

Jason

haha...only if it really WAS that easy. We should start the "share the love" program, where if someone has the ability to get in on a hot deal, they get a few more, for some random members, and then those members that benefitted pass on the good deed to some other random members...and Pass It On.

The hourly sales, like the video card from noon-1, are VERY limited and what happens is at the time the sale starts, tehy announce a random location in the store where they give out vouchers and people push and shove and trample each other to get them. Honestly, I say go with 20 friends or family if you can and wait at all locations in the store, one of you will have a much better chance at getting the x800 pro!

Two hot deals in one:

An X800 Pro for 150 bucks, and a good case for a neglect suit against the CompUSA you may be hurt in because THEY create a panic situation.

I still think it's a misprint. A 256MB 9800 Pro for 149 is FAR more believable than an X800.

if youre inline for the laptop ($200) forget it. the two signs posted on the door say that there are already 10 people in line/ with places reserved. supposedly they lined up from early on thur morning. however, since when is there a reservation system, no matter HOW EARLY one is? i mean those people should have been kicked off the property without a line pass just like the rest of us...

does anyone know if this would qualify as false advertising or SOMETHING? for example what if many people had known that they could NOT line up days in advance, but would have.... etc etc....
