Tusl2-c 512mb ram problems

Hey, i have a tusl2-c motherboard and i am trying to put 512 mb of ram in it, but it will read it as 524 then it will go to windows, then windows will start acting very wierd. I will get blue screens, and sometimes it wont even go into windows. I ran simmtester and the ram tested ok. I also tried different banks and it will still do the same thing. I also went to asus's website and flashed to the latest bios. If you have some recomendations, pls lemme know

isnt the max memory 512 mb? What version of windows are you using? Win9, me series can have issues with that much ram.
