Turtle Beach comparable headet? I use the Ear Force X12/360

I use the Turtle Beach Ear Force X12 on my Xbox 360. Wondering what something comparable is for the Xbox One. I have the Elite edition, but I want environments through the headset. What I use must also work with the One S that is arriving today, too.

BTW, the Ear Force X12 is setup with USB into the 360 and I use the controller 1/" connector through a 1/4" phono adapter to plug into the Denon receiver's 1/4" headphone jack for environmental sounds.
 
Now I am being told by a friend that environmental sounds are also coming through the controller. If this is the case I should be able to eliminate the Denon AVR altogether and just plug the One/One S directly into the projector's HDMI 2. Hmm
 
You can use your current headset through the controller. You may need an adapter because the new controller is 3.5mm.
