Boy, this one wasn't even on my radar. Sounds like a pretty cool concept. Didn't even hear about it until like a few weeks ago. It's basically a "what if" Nazi Germany attacked the US on their own soil in the early 50's.....Historical FPS with a little Sci Fi mixed in. Right up my alley :D

Anyone pick this up yet? Any feedback?

A bunch of nice trailers and movies on gamespot: here.

I've heard of very very horrible things about it, from the graphics to the AI. The 'what if' game we could've used would've been something like Resistance Fall of Man lol.

Been waiting for this game for months and the initial reviews are horrid. I had such high hopes for this game. :(

There is a demo if you have a 360. Gonna check it out tonight.

I know this is an old thread, but I played the game so I felt I should give a mini-review.
Where to begin...
I picked this up on clearance at the local Target for about $8 for a game that was getting 50% reviews I figured 8 bucks was worth it.
And the concept is great.
The trouble begins even before I can play the game, it comes with the wonderful SecuROM protection, that was having fits with Alcohol 52%.
Three hours later I get the game to play and strike one hits, the control layout only gives you options on how to configure your xbox 360 controller, no PC control customization at all.
And very little in the way of graphics properties to adjust, this game screams "I AM A LAME CONSOLE PORT!" and it shows.
Opening video plays the Nazis blow up the Statue of Liberty and you are immediately thrown into the game without any introduction to your character at all, I mean come on Gordon Freeman hasn't said a word in 2 full Half-Life games and several add-ons and has 10x the personality of the character you control.
Anyways you run your way down an under construction sky scraper that is falling apart beneath you, and that is when strike two hits the performance is awful and it looks bad to boot. The Unreal engine is no where near being used to its fullest potential here.
You get to street level and begin fighting the invasion, and notice the AI is dumber than dirt, has perfect aim loves to spam grenades.
Strike three you're out. At that point I uninstalled it.

Cliffs: Don't waste your money period, there are much better shooters out there.

About the "LAME CONSOLE PORT!" comment, it isn't that, it was every bit as bad on 360. This game was literally broken, looked like they used a really bad 2001 era engine, and still screwed that up, and did so while drinking heavily.

It became a quest for me, to finish the horribly broken and pathetically executed game. I refused to let it beat me into submission, a glutton for punishment I am! The worst part, was that the alternate history storyline could have made for a very interesting game, if every other aspect wasn't so reprehensibly bad in every possible way.

SPOILER:

(as if anyone cared, or would ever play this steaming pile) When you finally die at the end, saving the city from the Nazi nuke, it is the only thing with any satisfaction involved. Likely, because you are finally and mercifully finished suffering, and then left wondering why this couldn't have happened 5 minutes in and saved you the misery of playing past that point.

MY advice is this: Don't play it until they are willing to pay you to do so. The only other reason to play this, is to experience a truly horrible game in all respects, that takes one back to the days of Atari 2600, when anyone could produce a steaming pile for purchase, no matter how bad, broken, and truly unplayable it was.

the game is pretty short and the graphic is not that great. the story is pretty cool (i like the stage where you storm the white house), but the ending sux. i give it 3.5/10

This game sounds so bad, they'd have to pay me to play it. 39% at Gamerankings and Metacritic.

"2008 PC Rank: 153" So there were 152 better games out last year. Once I try all of them maybe I'll get around to it. ;)

I was thinking about getting the game, but I'm glad I checked here to see what the reaction was to it... Looks like a pass...

The best thing I saw in the game was the opening cinematics. I would pick it up for the 360 if I could get it for 5 bucks tho.

Terrible. Pass. You'll find better enjoyment from buying lottery scratch-it tickets. :)
