Turning off Messenger Service made my Uploads Solid!!@!

My cousin has been uploading and downloading from me quite a bit. Hes always averaged about 32k uploads. After I used the RUN command "services.msc" and disabled Messenger service hes doing 67k all the time. From what I understand messenger service is mainly used for Netsend commands and broadcast. Why would turning this off improv my upload speed???

If I had to guess I would say that you had some sort of a virus or whatever you want to call it on your machine that was using netsend to spam people using windows - if I remember right about what you are talking about. Just the other day I was looking at my router and I saw a rediculous amount of machines trying to connect using whatever port it uses like 49152 or something but every few seconds I updated it I had a few more attempts.
