I know I need to connect the L5 bridges but with what? I am assuming the pencil trick does not work with the L5 bridge since it doesn't on the L2. Will I have to use the superglue/silver lacquer technique or is there another way???

Just one L5 bridge does the trick. See
http://www.beachlink.com/candjac/index.htm link to Tbred and Palomino articles for sections on this with links and pics.

Apparently insulating fill is not required since closing the bridge connects to ground, so shorting to the reported sub-surface ground plane in the pit/trench would not change the signal outcome...still be a LO.

Hey thanks for the info. I was hoping there would be a less permanent solution besides the conductive compound. I wonder if a spot of ASII would work. Pencil doesn't, I just tried it.

Anyone know of any other tchniques? Perhaps some trace tape?

BUMP. Anybody know any other methods to use to connect the L5 bridge? What material and where to buy it for the cheapest amount? What kind of auto rear windows defrogger should I look for and what is the best way to apply it? Thanks.

Loctite brand Rear Window Defogger Repair Kit. The kit will contain a small bottle of conductive paint, brush, and stencil. I use either a pin or toothpick to apply it. I know that most NAPA auto part stores carry it.

I looked on Loctite's website and could not find their Rear Window Defrogger Kit. I checked at my local NAPA and they didn't have it. This sucks! Could you direct me to somewhere on the internet that has it for sale? Or any other leads as to where would have it. I tried Radio Shack, Shucks, NAPA, National Auto Parts, a local electronics store, Loews, and Home Depot. All didn't have anything, no rear window defogger kits or conductive pain/pens.

Crap, pencil didn't do anything for me. I got a defogger repair kit from Advance Auto Parts.
