Turning 30 on Monday. What do I have to look forward to?

My metabolism is going to hell. My hairline is retreating from my forehead. Shoulder hair? Check.

What else can I look forward to?

Prostate exams are in your near future.

Unless you're into that sort of thing.

Unexplainable hair poking out of areas you thought, A: did not grow hair or B: was well trimmed the night before and is now 8 inches long!

Cheers! :)

Turning 31 is something I would like to do :D My body is falling apart like a five year old Cadillac lately.

Dx'd with Vitiligo two years ago.
Stress-related Eczema (sp?) this year.
I found out that I grow small benign tumors when I get cuts on my chest - 3 years ago.
I also started breaking out with quarter shaped whelps under stress - earlier this year.
This morning, the wife told me I am getting crows feet (Thanks, honey)

Blech.

Get off your fat lazy lawyer's ass and exercise.

:D

Ok, just kidding . . .

However, I felt the same way - THIS MAY - when I was 35 lbs overweight, and getting a bald spot and DEPRESSED. THEN I took charge of my life, got into a serious diet and exercise program . . .

today, I am meeting new and fun people, have attained my ideal weight (135lbs/5'9") and even my hair is growing back (I coloured the gray) since my stress level is less (due to REGULAR exercise).

BTW, I will be 21 years older than you the day after your B-day.

Happy Birthday! and if you stop coasting you may have many (many many) more good years to look forward to.

It's true - we may be getting older chronologically - BUT there are other advantages and age effects can be (way) minimized by diet and exercise (and reducing stress).

Have kids? It's a pretty common thing to start popping em out between 25-35. Gives you something to do... attend basketball games, etc. Just don't let them play Diablo too long (see the other thread?). But yeah, you're hitting mid-life crisis kinda early... probably a result of your stressful career. But hey, the only way to cure it is to buy a Nissan 350Z.

apoppin - :) Thanks for the advice. :D My secretary just dropped my with some information on supplements that she thinks I need to start taking. Must be a sign. ;)

I know suicide is not the answer. But I thought about getting a divorce and buying a covertible the other day, so the mid-life crisis thing can't be too far off :p ;)
