I always thought that the $800 means they sold $800 worth of stuff, but didn't take home $800 in profit.
 
How many fall victim to work at home type scam, make 1,000 a month licking stamps and sending envelops?!

If you have access to volume discounts on high demand items it is a viable "profession" reselling them on ebay. It's a great way for stay at home parents to increase the household income.
 
Most of these book are based on fictionist ideas. These author haven't even sold anything on ebay, let alone their lazyness and lack of willingness to help others by putting words in their mouth for $ that's going to make them rich not the buyers who has sold their souls to a false idealistic $$$ day dreaming. That success takes a lot of effort, not just some fools preaching how to make money in your sleep.. LMAO..
