A version of Firefox in Kurdish was recently made available as an official release. The response has been interesting. (note how many of the posts are nearly identical). Apparently they're getting the message from some forum. I found it amusing.

I doubt internet penetration rates are very high in Turkey.. So even if the internet users in Turkey boycott Firefox ( which I doubt all of them will ), Mozilla is not affected.. Besides, I am on the side of the Kurds in the Kurds Vs Turkey issue.. Turkey is just trying to suppress them.
Kurds want part of Turkey/Iraq/Iran to form a new Kurd-State.
That is complete B.S.

hehe being Armenian I won't exactly stand up for Turkey. However they should be able to release it in any language they choose.

They go out and blow themselves up inside those countries too to prove their cause.
Turkey is being very nice. If they did what Israel did to the Palestinians the Kurds would be bitch slapped. Lucky for the Kurds that the U.S is inside Iraq and has begged Turkey not to do anything. For now Kurds can run their little terrorist operations inside Iraq under the cover of the U.S.

I am half Armenian... eenchbes es?I personally am getting tired of Turkey's bullsh1t. They will NEVER be admitted into the EU, the French President said so, and I am glad. They really need to clean up their act. That means: stop prosecuting writers with a different view (Orhan Pamuk), admit to the Armenian, Greek, and Kurdish Genocides, and improve foreign relations.

How is that such a bad idea to form another state? I mean it was Western colonialism that changed that region from an assortment of ethnic states to multi-ethnic states with internal distress -- just like we did in Africa.
