Turkey sucks. It's time for something else.

After another Thanksgiving meal consisting of turkey, I'm getting sick of it. This turkey was perfectly prepared, too, but that doesn't change the fact that TURKEY SUCKS. It's time for a change. I don't care what anyone says, but I'm having a huge side of beef for Thanksgiving next year (I'm sure PETA will be thrilled)! Who's with me?

Daovonnaex, I'm not a big turkey fan, but I will still eat some type of bird on Thanksgiving, red meat is for every other occasion in my opinion :)

You could try doing what my older brother did. He shot a goose with a bow and arrow in the middle of Boston (late in the night, of course) and prepared that for Thanksgiving.

He just walked down to the nearest city park w/ a pond in it and shot one or what?

Yep. It was a party of four, actually. His friend Ivan first shot the goose with an arrow that pierced the left wing. My brother next charged into the water and attacked with a spear. He then brought the goose out of the water and they finished the job with knives.

I prefer ham for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, although our turkey was unusually good this year.

Christ, it was a goose, not an elephant. Was there anything left?

you'd be aggressive too if someone shot you with an arrow then tried to st@b the life out of you
