my post was insensitive.

i just read the post about the 75 lb rock that was thrown at a car. that sh!t is depressing.

i can't believe kids these days don't know the difference between a harmless prank and a dangerous one.

Yes they can; they're just not very graceful at it 😛

A couple years ago, a turkey flew through a 2nd-story window in one of the buildings up at school; that didn't even phase it. The thing was flying around the offices for an hour or so before they finally caught it and took it back out of the building:shocked:

EDIT: I should add, wild turkeys can fly. If you're thinking farm-raised, you're right; those "birds" coudln't fly if their lives depended on it.

Flying = taking flight. It doesn't matter if it's a mile or 100, flying is flying. My grandfather once tried to raise turkeys, and they got loose... we had a helluva time running after them, we had one cornered outside of a house and then the dam thing took off!!! It flew up and perched on a powerline, and looked down at us probably thinking, "dumbasses, u can't catch me biaaatch!". Eventually gramps had to get a tranquilizer gun and snipe em. lol

Glad they caught the fckers. They should all be tried as adults (the 17 y/olds) and rot in prison for a very long time. This is inexcusable:

"The victim's older sister said yesterday the woman suffered fractured cheekbones, a broken nose, a broken top jaw and a fractured lower jaw and required a tracheotomy. She was in critical but stable condition at Stony Brook University Hospital yesterday before undergoing six hours of surgery."

If the victim suffers any brain damage because of this, I'm sure they will be put away for a very long time.

Don't count on it, I'm betting on a slap on the wrist, community service & maybe a fine for all but the 18 y/o, Cushing.. he might get a few months. What a system 🙁
 
Just to clarify, these kids got a hold of a credit card, and instead of buying clothes, music, games, eats, etc, they bought a turkey to throw at someone.

Let's see here... a group of 18 year olds... steal a credit card (stupid, but okay, I can see teens doing that)... use it to buy... a TURKEY!?!?

Damn, that's just asinine! If you're gonna steal a credit card, at least buy something decent with it!

So they have this (presumably) frozen turkey and I guess they decided that they screwed up and bought something really useless with that stolen credit card, so they... THROW IT OUT OF THE WINDOW OF A MOVING CAR?

These are some stupefyingly idiotic teenagers.
