Turkey Burgers are my new love :)

$3.50 for a pack of 12 from walmart. 190 calories and 21 g protein. I didn't check on sodium or cholesterol or any of that nonsense. Pop them in the george forman for 5-8 minutes and you're good to go. Yum!

Even better with avocado, tomato, sprouts, red onion and pepper jack cheese on a whole wheat onion bun!

a fried rat would probably taste good with those toppings!

When I had a spicy black bean gardenburger (not that great) at Burgerville the other day, I noticed that they also have a turkey burger.

I'll probably try that next time.

I think the secret to enjoying turkey burgers and gardenburgers is to not try to make them taste like hamburgers. I LOVE gardenburgers; usually I eat the black bean ones over rice with lima beans and corn and the garlic ones on pita with hummus and mesclun. I always eat turkey burgers the way I listed above.

Turkey burgers are pretty good. Try getting some wheat thins or cheese its and lightly crush them and add them to the patties.

I'll find out and let ya know. Oh, now I know why you were trying Morningstar brands.... Weren't they running those $1 off next purchase coupons on every box? 😉

someday i will get away from Fudruckers cajun grilled chicken and try their turkey burger. I don't think i'll every try ostrich though. its just too ugly of an animal. (yes, i know it sounds stupid, i don't care. its ugly).

Yea, but they taste like sh*t.
Mrsskoorb and I each had one last night and it kicked my ass, especially with a 30 cal cheese slice, tomato, and lettuce, cat-slup, and must-retard.

AFAIK CostCo B&M carries Boca burgers 😛

Been eating ground turkey for years. Good stuff.

I like the Portabella Burgers myself over the Bocas, etc.

We use ground turkey for all recipes that call for ground beef. We've also been eating a lot of marinated Turkey Tips and they taste great (especially the Chinese Marinated Turkey Tips)

I've been experimenting with ground turkey and turkey or chicken sausage, haven't tried turkey burgers yet though.

Shopping at Wal Mart? What's next? You and MrsSkroob dragging 5 kids into the back of your Suburban with an American flag sticker?
