TurboTax - Pricing?! Amazon lower by $35?

yep, they have never gone this low on TT this early. i always get H&B for 80$ on black friday, and wouldn't you know it, it drops to 65$ a couple weeks later 🙄

guess i will wait longer next year

First party stores generally won't undercut resellers. The originating companies are the worst place to get products aside from ones that don't work with dealers.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but the Amazon one doesn't say it includes e-filing for state, just one state download.

There is usually a charge for state for an e-file, so you can print it out and mail it in for free or spend $20 for an e-file.

I went with the H&R Block for $20 when Amazon had it on sale. The next question is do I get a $2k Amazon GC for an extra $200?

Turbotax burnt their bridges last year when they moved features to higher priced versions. H&R works great and I have already purchased for this year, for less than comparable TT.

Also H&R on Amazon is cheaper than from H&R.

I used to use TaxAct, but it's been several years. I was very happy with it when I used it, and it was very affordable.

can you share those other tax apps with multiple people?

i always buy TT H&B desktop app for about 80$ but then share it with 3 other family members, so it only costs me 20$

I'm getting the H&R fed and state for 32.99 download. I used to always do them for free online but the conveniences have spoiled me.
