Tuniq Tower question

Silly question but o well...

has anyone figured out how to properly seat the fan control for the tuniq tower via the real panel on your case?

I'm talking about this guy: http://www.bjorn3d.com/Material/ReviewImages/Tower120/fancontroller.jpg


The knob is too thick to fit through the rear panel. As of right now, I just have the slot open and the fan control hanging out the back of my computer... not an idea situation.


Someone please tell me why I'm stupid and this is an easy solution.
 
Pull the knob off - yes grab it and pull it off the potentiometer shaft. It's a grippie not setscrewed.

You can slide it back on once the plate is installed in your PC.

Turn it all the way counterclockwise and make sure the marker is at the 7 o'clock position for reference.

Yup. Take the knob off.
