Tuniq Tower 120 Versus The Zalman CNPS9500 LED

It's a toss up at this point in time for which one to choose. Given the Tuniq's size and weight make me a bit hesitant to get it, but I also wanted to know if the differences in cooling between them if it's really that much?

Well I just ordered the Tuniq Tower 120, let you know how it goes when I get it.

How about the Ninja? According to that review, when you put the same fan on both at full speed, the TT is 2deg lower. But at 50% speed the Ninja has the lower temp by 5deg.

I like silence (well quiet), so I think I would pick the Ninja and run the fan closer to 50% for lower noise level.

Just a thought if you aren't looking for the absolute performance.

Well to late, hehe I ordered the Tuniq, so I'm going with that, and most people seem to agree it's the best.

I've also heard more people rave the Tuniq then the Ninja too, and from what I've seen, I think the Tuniq is a better HSF too.

What do most people do with the fan speed adjustment, like put it all the way down to minimum when you aren't putting any load on the box, like say when you are just surfing the web for a driver, just on the desktop not really putting any load on the box, then when you game crank it to the max?

Personally I'd hate to keep messing with a fan speed and I'd rather have the thing run at max all the time, since the chip will be overclocked.

As long as the fan isn't really noisy turned all the way up, listening to it all the time.

Personally, I have all my fans on a Sunbeam fan controller, and I turn them down to where they are barely audible (PC-201 with three case fans and TT with 3rd party fan) and leave them there. I don't bother adjusting them when gaming, I like the low noise of my setup. Note that I don't go for the highest OC that I can get, I limit myself to about ~10% voltage OC, and like to keep the load temps at or below 50C (with the lower fan speed).
