does anyone currently go to tulane? if so, is it a nice school? did you ever used to go to tulane? know someone who did?

i dont have time to go down and visit, so help me out!

Do you know anyone that goes there? Ask them if so.

If not, randomly call people in the dorms (contact info should be on the web) and ask the students what they think of the school. Seriously, people will talk to you.

IMHO, if you are doing premed, it's not worth it. go to a state school, and save your money for med school

Do a search for common names (Smith, Jones), it will give you a bunch of phone numbers.

i have ~25 to 30k in scholarships alone, not including interest free loans...

I was going to say, it's very expensive, but with that level of scholarships, I'd do it.

I went to Tulane (started in biomed engineering, finished with CIS degree) with about the same level of scholarships. I loved it. New Orleans is now a bit different after the hurricane, but Uptown largely remains unchanged for college students.

If you have any general questions about Tulane or New Orleans (I was born and raised there), let me know. I'll be there next weekend for JazzFest.

It was under water last September after Katrina.

oh was it? lawl no it wasnt, downtown new orleans is the highest spot, and they "lost" a total of 3 buildings. everything is cleaned up and those buildings will be up within the next year iirc hehehe
