Im sure Fox will replace Tucker with someone with high morals and high integrity. Someone like Mike Lindell.

ps. I guess 787.5 million does hurt after all...

You should totally see this clip.. where they make fun of the pillow guy.. like how does actually have that kind of money selling pillows?

Are you seeing people spending that kind of money on pillows?

This seems sudden and unplanned - I'll be interested to see what the reason behind it is.

Off the top of my head I can think of at least 780 million! ;)

I was feeling kind of crappy this morning BUT seeing this story really warmed my cold, hard little heart!

Do you not understand how any of this works?? Hannity is dancing a jig right now! He’ll likely get that time slot back after Fox is done with guest hosts and, either way, will see a significant boost to his ratings. All of these hosts (most networks, but especially at Fox) are out for themselves and each commands a warring faction of producers and off-screen talent trying to outdo one another.

Edit: Also, it is extremely unlikely that Maddow leaves her cushy gig with NBC right now—she wields a lot of power behind the scenes and sets her own schedule. I don’t think she wants anything to do with a Murdoch-affiliated Fox…and her champion Roger Ailes is long gone.
Wut?

Looks like the release of his mentioning how he hates Trump so much and other such damaging info that was revealed from the Dominion lawsuit had at the least something to do with the firing.

Would be awesomely righteous if Carlson finally realized what a humiliating jackass he's made of himself (to the real world outside of the fake one FOX created for its viewers) from shoveling the FOX bullshit to new and newer heights of absurdity, demanded some changes and got his ass handed to him because of it.

I have a suspicion Fucker was handed a list of rules to follow because no business wants to settle a suit for billions and then immediately have another suit appear.
Fucker probably didn’t like these new rules and didn’t want to put effort into his show to keep audiences. Thus he leaves or is fired.

He'd make a killing if he could get the old Rush radio network back up.
Edit: problem with that is that if you've bought something like a clock radio with AM and FM recently, the AM has terrible reception, because they just don't care anymore, because that audience is dying off. I just want to be able to listen to a baseball game on the radio when monopoly Roots Sports decides to show something else once in a blue moon.

IIRC the MLB app, which otherwise sucks, lets you listen to audio feed for free.

A good summary of the problem with Carlson: he's not an extremist with horrible views, it's that he's a con man with no firm views. He's willing to say anything if it gets money and publicity, even if it gets people killed (and you could argue that his election lies did get people killed).

LOL what part is “wut”?
I misspoke earlier—I was sure Carlson had bumped Hannity from his 9pm slot but I guess he still has it (Carlson was getting higher ratings at 8pm though because old boomers might be falling asleep before 9??)

The Rachel Maddow stuff—yeah apparently Roger Ailes liked her, tried to recruit her, and they had a “courteous relationship” that never amounted to anything because she refused to work for Fox.

Possibly, but my guess is Watters with possibly Tulsi taking Watters old time slot.

I could see it, but Watters is pretty fucking bland.

They need a splash to replace their star. And the closest they have would be to frame her as a recovering D or some such shit.

Watters has one of the highest rated shows iirc, and we know ratings is all that matters.
