I'm installing an 8800gt and it takes up alot of space. Directly under the 8800 i'm thinking of installing a heatsink/fan I just picked up.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16835116018
The heatsink is quite large and will lye on the southbridge about an inch under and to the right of the end of the 8800.

My question is this, should i aim the fan at the 8800gt fan or towards my psu mounted on the bottom of my case?
I'm not exactly sure if the 8800fan is blowing air at or away from the 8800.

Thanks

Believe I'd mount the fan to blow towards your PSU. I don't think you need to add any heat to your 8800 or add to it's fan's load... But you may want to experiment and check temps in various orientations,
