I'm one is who normally opposed to media's abuse of dead body pictures, but in this case we really need to see it to put things in perspective. I don't think any of us can appreciate the massive loss in human lifes and properties solely from words.

Tragic as this Tsunami, it really brings the best out of all civilian around the world. I was in US (Austin) the days of the tragedy, and Hong Kong a couple of days after. In both places I see lots of concerned people, people just like you and me, actively finding ways to help.

Let us hope that we will learn from this and be more prepared for mothernature.
