I really like the Thermaltake Tsunami but I also like the Antec Sonata. Which one is best?

I have a Sonata myself and I absolutely love it. To me its real quiet I put in two fans one in back and one in front and it still runs quietly. The power supply allows fans to run at lower speeds and push enough air through the system. I would go with Sonata but then again I really don't know much about the Tsunami =)

I'll vote Sonata as well. The only things I really don't like are the front headlights are insanely bright, and well... nothing else.

I had a sonata and the head lights seemed fine. If you're eye's were lined up with them on both axis, they were a bit bright but off at any angle they were fine /shrug.

I sleep in the path of the lights, so they're insanely bright to me :p.

If you're interested in the tsunami check out the coolermaster wavemaster instead... I think the wavemaster has a better layout and is better quality; howver, if you want to spend about as much as the Sonata then check out the coolermaster praetorian. I've got one and its a beautifully built case!

Well, I've heard only good things about the Sonata. But the Tsunami look so much cooler. Is $40 more for the Tsunami worth it? Is the Tsunami that unwell built? BTW how are the PSU's in these things for a Athlon 64 3200+ and 6800 GT?

:)
Antec Sonata $98
Thermaltake Tsunami $140.50 (Acrylic windows version with 400 watt Thermaltake power supply)
:)

The Sonata's PSU can take a beating and keep on ticking. You don't need a kilowatt PSU to run a modern system. The Thermaltake PSU woul get the job done as well.

Id go for sonota just for the better psu ...its like 60 dollars alone. i got my sonata at a local comp store and the psu shows 3.3V@28A, +5V@35A, +12V@24A, the newegg pic of the psu only shows 18a on the 12v rail so i duno why i got more ..its the same true380s

Just got my Tsumani in today!
Its beautiful!
Mirror finish....extremely light. Havnt put it all together yet but its gorgeous!
The HDD Cage come out, looks like the Floppy drive cage is also removable, has rubber mounts for the HDDs to keep vibration down.
The side panel is flimsy though, all aluminum so Im not really surprised by that.

Hey man, do you know if the Praetorian is the same size as the Wavemaster, ... as in, will the wavemaster window panel fit the praetorian? do ya even know?

was just curious, I like the Praetorian, but I like the coolermaster window panel too.

don't get the sonata. the antec 3700-bqe is a better revision and it's cheaper. personally, i didn't care for the plastic door so i went with the centurion 5. the front mesh wire cools the case really well. reminds me of the mac g5.
