Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it illegal to stage a "going out of business" sale when you have no intetion of going out of business?

Well, Circuit City's "going out of business sale" was a lie!

I work for a Silk-Screen T-Shirt printing company, I can make my own!
But their selection certainly gave me a few laughs. 🙂

I mean really, who would wear those types of shirts? I could see a 15 yo thinking they are cool, but a grown-ass adult? :/

<--

I'm a grown adult. And that's funny.

The shirts and slogans are funny in many cases but who's actually going to buy and wear them? Are you seriously suggesting that you'd wear a "White Flour" t-shirt showing a Adolf Pillsbury Dough boy in public?

I have no problem with people posting it in the topic title. I have a problem with people using it as the anchor text of a link. People seem to fail to understand that.

I don't give a shit about him, his shirts, this news, or anything related to t-shirt hell in any way. Why do people care how he runs his own business?

Turns out the whole thing was a publicity stunt, not that I'm surprised. He claims it is just some sort of hilarious joke to show us how we really need him to live and support his business. All I can say is he's an asshole, deceiving your customers to make some short term cash? Not a great idea.

You aren't their target customer obviously.

Try an emo shirt place.

No more beanie babies
Superman died
Our local furniture store had a going out of business sale 3 times
Different loons have told us the earth was gonna end

None of the above really came to pass. LOL

sometimes shit doesn't happen...life goes merrily along afterall.
