Tshirt Hell isn't closing

Turns out the whole thing was a publicity stunt, not that I'm surprised. He claims it is just some sort of hilarious joke to show us how we really need him to live and support his business. All I can say is he's an asshole, deceiving your customers to make some short term cash? Not a great idea.

I mean really, who would wear those types of shirts? I could see a 15 yo thinking they are cool, but a grown-ass adult? :/

The ploy failed with me as I am still not ordering from them, unless they start carrying plain shirts with a collar that have at most two buttons at the throat<--the only type of shirt I wear.

I wear them. I like the sarcastic/funny shirts. I guess I am not alone and that's why they started Torso pants. Though that didn't last too long.

wait you actually thought he was gonna close?
lol

he did have a point with his rant however him giving everyone the finger should not be unexpected

That is unfortunate.

I still might order a few of the older designs that they revived for this, but yeah, it was pretty obviously a stunt.

Then it wouldn't be called T-Shirt Hell. 😕

it worked on getting me to review their shirts and decided that it's not worth to spend on any of them.

and I am still buying shirts from woot.

Do you pop the collars up and/or wear multiple shirts with popped collars?

No. Just a single shirt and the collar stays down. I don't see the point of undershirts either. Diversifying their product line and keeping t-shirts as their main focus would not cause them to have to changse the name of their site.

Lets put this in perspective though... he'd be willing to wear (what essentially is) a polo shirt with the T-Shirt Hell slogans and shit on them. Talk about moronic.

Man, some of those t-shirts are really bad.

I would imagine you would get shanked in most major cities wearing some of those.

Cause he doesn't want to wear an idiotic slogan t-shirt?
