TSCC Codec...anyway to convert this?

I am by no means a video guru...far from it.

I don't want to have to put a goofy codec on my PC just to play these free training videos so I was hoping I could find away around it either by using VLC or converting the videos to a more user friendly format.

I tried VLC the latest version and it plays the videos but the screen continually flickers and rolls...making it unwatchable.

Can anyone recommend an app that could convert this codec?

Thanks in advance,
Lee

Install the free TSCC codec so the videos will play properly, or purchase and install Camtasia Studio and convert them to another format.

Aside from purchasing a 300 dollar app to convert the videos to something that plays without the TSCC codec is there any other program you would recommend? I was hoping to not have to purchase additional software to convert them "if it is even possible"

If not then I guess I will go the codec install route.

Thanks,
Lee

I may be wrong, but as far as I can tell Camtasia Studio is the only program that can edit/convert videos that are encoded with the TSCC codec.
