Its simply this: the terrorists have won.

You honestly think you're safer at the airport than, say, a bus station? Or perhaps a train station? Take note of the TSA agents there. See what they are doing as far as security goes. TSA is just another pork funded agency this country should no longer tolerate.

I've said this a couple of weeks ago and it hasn't changed since last year when I was worried about pat downs for my children as we were heading out to Italy. If any of the TSA agents were to touch my children, their face would be touching my face in a very impactful manner.

I've never understood this cliche. "The terrorists" have clearly defined goals, none of which are even remotely related to airport security or Americans' civil rights. The TSA harassing children does not further al Qaeda's objective of eliminating Western influence from Muslim lands.

Did the internment camps mean that Japan won World War II? Did Lincoln's suspension of habeas corpus mean the south won the Civil War? TSA is an embarassment, but something being bad for America doesn't automatically mean America's enemies win.

Well...

The child's grandmother, Lori Croft, told The Associated Press that Brademeyer and her daughter, Isabella, initially passed through security at the Wichita airport without incident. The girl then ran over to briefly hug Croft, who was awaiting a pat-down after tripping the alarm, and that's when TSA agents insisted the girl undergo a physical pat-down.

They were concerned that the grandmother slipped whatever tripped the alarm to the little girl.

I don't see anything wrong here.

They have greater objectives than that.

I've heard their goals along the lines of destroying our way of life. Many Americans consider the TSA a gross viloation of some of the freedom we enjoy and therefore it is a successful assault on our way of life

That's just great. TSA first doesn't follow their own procedures which allow for a child of that age to be accompanied through the metal detectors or held by an adult while being wanded, which then traumatizes the girl. Then after a manager comes and restores order says days later they did nothing wrong.

They oppose every way of life but Sharia law. The US could burn the Constitution and become a fascist police state and al Qaeda would still be no closer to winning anything.

Rumsfeld? LOL. He's part of the overall master plan. this right here was a staged event to soothe the American sheeple. PNAC is about 73.57% complete.

Staged? No.

This was a year or two ago, years after he was kicked out of W's administration.

TSA agents were just following "protocol".

Meh....if they were let a little girl run around the airport and she ended up being the carrier for dangerous weapons or explosives that ended up killing people, then everybody would be crying foul against the TSA people.

Only because it would be the greatest proof of their uselessness. I'm pretty sure most people didn't blame the government for 9/11 (regarding ineptitude, not conspiracy, of course).

The TSA released a statement Tuesday saying it explained to the family why additional security procedures were necessary and that agents didn't suspect or suggest the child was carrying a firearm.
Then why did they treat her like HUMAN GARBAGE??
