.ts high def codec?

I've downloaded some of the Masters in High definition, and need to watch it, but don't know where to find a codec for it, or a player.

Any suggestions for a video noob?

I didn't even know what a .ts file is, but I coppied your thread title over to a Google search and came up with all sorts of info.

ts is a transport stream. you can play it in VLC (google Video Lan Client), or you can use autogk to convert it to an xvid/divx file.

you can also use ELECARD MPEG 2 Video Decoder to play in windows media classic.
