Hello,

I have an HP computer with an old 9800 GT and I was thinking of upgrading to a newer card. However, I am concerned that either my 460W PSU will be insufficient or that there will not be enough space for a new card in my tower. Or, perhaps there will be some kind of bottleneck. I would just like someone to make sure I am good to go before I order this card. I apologize for not being more tech-savvy! :'(

This is my HP computer: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883107732

This is the card I was thinking of upgrading to:

Can anyone give me some advice on this? It would be greatly appreciated.

The GTX650Ti maxes out around 250W load power usage. I would say that your 460W power supply will be sufficient. The processor in that HP is a little under powered and may cause a slight bottleneck, but were talking very little. Maybe in the 15% range compared to a better processor.

I would say go ahead and upgrade.

Your PSU should be able to handle it as long as you are not overclocking it. Your cpu may start to be a bottleneck at stock speeds, however, depending on the games you play.
