Put on a Halloween mask, wrap a blanket around you and start crawling around on your hands an knees. This would always freak my dogs out. Be sure to make some growling noises and stuff. Probably not a good idea if the dog is big enough to kill you.

heh yea that probably works. heck when i was wrapped in a blanket that hooded my head and i walked to the kitchen in the twilight, i freaked my dog out. guess i just looked like a hooded ghoul....

My dog hates it when I wear my motorcycle helmet. I put that on and chase him around.

Now i'm even more homesick. :( I have a 110lb Black Lab/Chesapeake cross, Shadow, and an 85lb Cholcolate Lab/Chesapeake cross, Max. Such pretty dogs. Dogs will play in the water ALL DAMN DAY if you let em. Its especially bad if we camp where theres a beach right on the campsite.

:p

Was going to make a comment along the lines of his dog being very cautious and jittery since that whole peanut butter incidence...

:D would have probably come off better than my version.

Apparently you haven't seen "Road Trip".

Mean Van Wilder?

I forgot about that one. Mine was supposed to be from Road Trip when the nerdy kid tells them he did that while they are driving in the car.

I know how to scare our dogs.

Get a used wrapping paper tube, and hit it flat against a wall as hard as you can. The noise is insane.

You can only do it one time cause the tubes gonna crumble.

why dont you just stick a hole through your check with some scissors and punch yourself in the nose until it breaks/bleeds, and to finish it off cut your lips and neck with a razor...it would essentially be the same as what would happen if it got a hold of you

What kind of lesson would that teach the dog?

You have to re-establish authority some other way. Take away her bed or something. If she's beyond the puppy phase, then you're in for a long hard deconditioning session. Maybe you could re-enact the scene from a ClockWork Orange?

You are an idiot. Why, when a dog gives you love and companionship, as well as, is your friend - no matter what, would you went to torment it's spirit? You don't deserve the dog and it should be in a better home...hopefully a less abusive one.

what the fvck are you talking about? seriously, go kill yourself, or go scare a really huge dog...either way, get it taken care of. why does the dog need to be taught a lesson? he is trying to scare it, not train it. wtf is your malfunction? taking away its bed wont do sh!t either. how in gods name would that re-establish your authority over the dog? thats right, it wouldnt, but maybe it would in your dreamworld where pigs fly and you actually get to have sex with someone besides your hand.

It's not easy scaring a dog.

I've tried to scare mine and he just looks at me like WTF?

You might try setting off a M80 next to his bowl while he's eating.

Be prepared to clean up the mess! ;)
