I usually format as a slave in regular ide in a system then move to the enclosure..

I just did that.
I just dont understand it. I put a WD in there...and sees it fine. I put a new Seagate 200 in there, NOPE, and even a new Seagate 80..nope. In each enclosure, with every friggin jumper configuration.
